Alison Garner
Alison comes from a theatre design background and has worked for companies such as Metro Boulot Dodo on installation projects as well as running her own company Left Luggage Theatre.
Her installation will be based on the work of Henry Walter Bates, a 19th Century Amazon explorer from Leicester who wrote the first scientific account of mimicry in animals. The installation will take the form of a ‘cabinet of wonders’, and will explore, dreams, camouflage, and clockwork, also drawing on
the work of H.G. Wells.
